PAKSHe participated in the first successful heart transplants in Poland, carried out in the mid 1980s under the supervision of the world famous Polish cardiac surgeon, Professor Zbigniew Religa. He is a frequent lecturer at prestigious cardiac meetings in Poland and abroad. He coordinated many international researches. For his contribution to the development of cardiac surgery, he has received numerous awards.
